Gunmen Attack Apostle Suleman’s Convoy, Kill Four Police Escorts

It was a terrible day on Friday as some unidentified Gunmen attacked the Nigerian popular pastor and general overseer of Omega Fire Ministries International Apostle Suleman‘s Convoy, where Four Police Escorts and four other domestic staff were killed in a gun battle along Warake road, close to Auchi, Edo State.

Many others were also injured during the incident though the reason for the attack is still unknown the popular clergyman in the news coming in today expressed his disappointment as he faulted the police report that one of the suspected kidnappers among the gang that attacked his convoy yesterday was gunned down during a gun battle with the police along Auchi expressway, noting that the suspect was caught and handed over to the police.

However, the clergyman lamented on his official Twitter page today asking why the securities operatives would kill the only one suspect who could have shed more light and unraveled the whole story behind the deadly attack.

Meanwhile, the clergy in an interview explained in detail what happened; he said that while he was moving with his escort, some unknown gunmen attacked and opened fire on his car and continued to spray bullets. He said his wife and children were in the escort car in front of him. He said they killed the policemen and other persons in the other escort car and buses that were moving with him. He further made it known that he knew the people involved in the attack but promised not to mention their names.

He said the issues have been there since 2017 but he has decided to keep quiet, clarifying that they can’t kill him because his life is in God’s hands.
